Taking care of your healing crystal jewelry involves both physical and energetic maintenance to keep it beautiful and potent. Here’s how:
1. **Cleaning:** Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth. For heavier dirt, use warm, soapy water and rinse carefully. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives. Note: Some crystals, like Selenite, should never be cleaned with water.
2. **Handling:** Handle your jewelry gently to avoid scratches and damage. Crystals can be fragile.
3. **Charging:** Charge your jewelry by placing it in natural sunlight or moonlight for a few hours. Note: Some crystals, like Amethyst, can fade in sunlight, so moonlight is safer.
4. **Energizing:** Hold your jewelry and set your intention for the energy you want it to carry. This could be a goal, a feeling, or sending good vibes to someone.
5. **Safekeeping:** Store your jewelry in a jewelry box or cloth pouch when not in use to prevent damage and scratches.
6. **Regular cleansing:** Cleanse your jewelry energetically using sound energy from bells or singing bowls, cleansing smoke from sage or Palo Santo, or larger cleansing crystals like Selenite or Clear Quartz. Research specific care for your type of crystal.
Treat your crystals with respect, and they will provide their amazing energy in return.
Charging your healing crystal jewelry is essential to maintain its energy. Here are some methods:
1. **Sunlight:** Place your jewelry in sunlight for a few hours. Note: Some crystals, like Amethyst, can fade in intense sunlight.
2. **Moonlight:** Charge your jewelry under moonlight, especially during a full moon. Place it on a windowsill or outside.
3. **Earth energy:** Bury your jewelry in the earth or place it on soil for several hours to tap into the Earth's energy.
4. **Larger crystals:** Use a large crystal like Selenite or Clear Quartz to charge your jewelry by placing it in direct contact for a few hours or overnight.
5. **Sacred smoke:** Smudge your jewelry with smoke from sage or Palo Santo. Let the smoke surround your jewelry for a few minutes.
6. **Sound energy:** Use sound from Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, or bells to charge your jewelry. Play the instrument near your jewelry for a few minutes.
7. **Visualization and intention:** Hold your jewelry and set a clear intention for the energy you want it to carry. Visualize it being surrounded by radiant energy.
Choose the method that resonates with you and your crystals.
Due to the organic nature of stones, they are non-refundable. I stand by my workmanship and will refund for mistakes that affect the jewelry. You can also choose to receive store credit for any mistakes and I will remake the jewelry. Either option would require the jewelry to be returned. I will repair string breaks in the first two months of shipping. After 60 days, you can send the product back to me with a self-addressed envelope enclosed.
